The secret to their (and our) success is a two way street of communication. We've incorporated a decade's worth of client suggestions into Mentor Scout to create mentoring technology that is jam packed with useful (but simple!) features to do the heavy lifting of administering mentorship programs.
There wasn't much in the way of mentoring technology when we developed and released Mentor Scout in the summer of 2003. Those of us who had worked as corporate HR and T&D leaders had always wanted to start and grow corporate mentoring programs but it was too time consuming for our busy teams. How would we match people? How would we keep track, measure ROI and keep the programs energized? And then along came the Internet and with it the opportunity to create technology to make mentoring a reality for all organizations.
