We don't like to brag about Mentor Scout being the online mentoring technology platform of choice for more than 10 years. So instead we'll brag about our clients and their great successes with mentoring. Companies such as Toyota, Xerox, United Technologies, ConAgra Foods and United Way of America have all developed award-winning, world class mentoring programs using Mentor Scout. The secret to their (and our) success is a two way street of communication. We've incorporated a decade's worth of client suggestions into Mentor Scout to create mentoring technology that is jam packed with useful (but simple!) features to do the heavy lifting of administering mentorship programs.

Why We Do What We Do

There wasn't much in the way of mentoring technology when we developed and released Mentor Scout in the summer of 2003. Those of us who had worked as corporate HR and T&D leaders had always wanted to start and grow corporate mentoring programs but it was too time consuming for our busy teams. How would we match people? How would we keep track, measure ROI and keep the programs energized? And then along came the Internet and with it the opportunity to create technology to make mentoring a reality for all organizations.

The Mentor Scout team blends years in the field of Learning & Development with an equal level of expertise in software development to provide the perfect mix of mentoring knowledge and precision engineering. Mentor Scout starts by identifying each organization's mentoring objectives and helps configure the technology to perfectly adapt to the company's unique culture and organization structure. Our technical side handles all the account setup and structure changes and focuses on bringing our product roadmap to life.
